Christmas 2013 and Happy New Year

There was nothing easy about Christmas this year (even Santa's letter). Amy and the boys took cookies to the families and staff at the oncology ward at BC Children's Hospital. I thought of this blogpost throughout the day... and Gabrielle not being there to watch her brothers scream and shout while playing with the wrapping paper from their parents.

A New Year

James named New Year's Day "Hope Day" ... "You know... a day when people can be hopeful about... you know... life and things." His insight and wisdom for a 6-year old continues to amaze us.

I hope everyone who checks this blog from time to time has a wonderful 2014. I think there's a good amount to hope for

  2. Regan & Amy, I thought about you and the boys constantly during Christmas & New Years. First holidays, special days (any day) is always so hard without our little ones. I love that James wants to call it Hope Day. That makes me smile, we think of you all & Gabrielle every day. Miss you guys, love & light. Paula xx
